Communications & Community Manager

Remote · Full-time / Part-time

Own the voice of Enpasso across email, social, and support — onboarding sequences, product updates, campaigns, and community engagement.

Apply by Email

What You’ll Do

  • Own email communications: onboarding sequences, product updates, re-engagement campaigns, billing/lifecycle emails, and newsletters
  • Manage social media presence — content calendar, posting, and community replies
  • Respond to user support emails and feedback, routing product issues to the team
  • Write and maintain copy across the site — landing pages, pricing, FAQ, About, and in-app messaging
  • Plan and run promotions, launch announcements, and seasonal campaigns
  • Track engagement metrics and iterate on messaging
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong written English and a knack for clear, friendly, persuasive copy
  • Experience with email marketing tools
  • Comfortable managing social accounts and engaging with an online community
  • An active chess player who understands the game and the community around it
  • Organised, self-directed, and comfortable owning the function day-to-day

Nice to Have

  • Basic design skills (Canva or similar) for social graphics and email templates
  • Experience with analytics tools to measure campaign performance

02

Chess Data & Content Specialist

Remote · Full-time / Part-time

Work alongside our team of chess experts on the content that powers Enpasso — puzzles, opening repertoires, lessons, and the position database.

Apply by Email

What You’ll Do

  • Curate and quality-check the puzzle library (daily puzzles, random puzzles, difficulty tagging) alongside the team
  • Help build and maintain opening repertoire content and the opening explorer dataset
  • Contribute to and expand curriculum lessons across skill levels
  • Review AI-generated lesson and coaching content for chess accuracy
  • Source, clean, and structure chess datasets (PGNs, position databases, Lichess game data)
  • Collaborate on skill-level criteria, coach personalities, and teaching content
  • Spot-check AI game annotations and analysis output for correctness

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum FIDE rating of 1700 (or equivalent), able to evaluate positions and explain ideas clearly
  • Comfortable working with structured data (spreadsheets, CSV, PGN files)
  • Experience with chess tools and platforms (online play sites, opening databases, engines)
  • Detail-oriented — accuracy and consistency across thousands of items
  • Able to write clear, instructive explanations for players of different skill levels

Nice to Have

  • Coaching or teaching experience
  • Familiarity with PGN/FEN formats and chess data pipelines
  • Experience with chess platform integrations
